Warriors forward Simon Mannering.

Warriors lock Simon Mannering has been named to return from a hamstring injury in the Round 12 clash with the Brisbane Broncos at Mt Smart Stadium.

James Gavet replaces Queensland State of Orign forward Jacob Lillyman, with Bunty Afoa moving to the bench. Albert Vete replaces Charlie Gubb on the interchange.

"We certainly missed Simon's presence in our last two matches," said Warriors head coach Stephen Kearney.

"He adds a lot to our group and it’s good to have him back this week.

"With Jake out through Origin, James slots back in to the starting front row and Albie has earned his opportunity with his performances for our Intrust Super Premiership side."

Warriors backs Solomone Kata and Manu Vatuvei are still both out of contention, with both recovering from calf injuries.
