Young Broncos half Kodi Nikorima has put pen to paper on a new deal to remain at Red Hill through to the end of the 2020 season.
Nikorima has spent the majority of his NRL career to date as a bench utility, but is viewed as a long-term halfback at the club with Ben Hunt to depart at season's end.
"Kodi has been with us since his early teenage years so we are very happy he has re-committed to the Broncos," Broncos CEO Paul White said via a club statement.
"He showed everyone just what he can do in his favoured position of the halves when given an stint there this this season.
"This deal underlines that we see him as a long-term player at the Broncos, who will help lead the club forward."
