Current Rugby League World Cup Chief Executive Andrew Hill has been named as the new Chief Executive of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

Hill was chosen after a thorough interview process that saw an original figure of over 2600 applicants for the highly coveted role.

Mr Hill has strong credentials, having held the position of General Manager Football at Parramatta Rugby League Club, in addition to the role of General Manager – League Integration and Development at the National Rugby League, before taking on the role of Chief Executive of the upcoming World Cup. Hill has also worked in AFL, as General Manager of Community and Game Development with the GWS Giants.

Bulldogs Chairman Ray Dib was delighted with the appointment of Mr Hill.

"Andrew was appointed from a very strong list of candidates and has exceptional experience in the game of rugby league. We thought it was important that we got a person who had a strong background in the game and understood the culture and ethos of our club," Dib said.

"Andrew grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney and has a strong affinity with the history of our club. He has an excellent commercial background and knowledge of sport and we are delighted to have him on board.

"I must also take this time to thank our outgoing Chief Executive Raelene Castle, who has done an excellent job during her time with the club. We wish her all the best moving forward."
