Melbourne captain Cameron Smith has further opened up the gap on his rivals in NRL.com's unofficial Dally M tally, earning three votes in the Storm's dramatic 16-13 win over the Roosters.
The Storm rake was at his scheming best in the top-of-the-table clash to help orchestrate a late comeback and all but assure his side will win the minor premiership.
None of Smith's direct competitors tallied points, giving the 350-gamer an almost unassailable lead in NRL.com's unofficial count with just three rounds remaining.
