The 2017 NRL Telstra Premiership Finals Series was launched in spectacular fashion today with stars from all eight Finals Series teams coming together at ANZ Stadium.

Cameron Smith (Melbourne Storm), Jake Friend (Sydney Roosters), Sam Thaiday (Brisbane Broncos), Tim Mannah (Parramatta Eels), Paul Gallen (Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks), Daly Cherry-Evans (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles), Peter Wallace (Penrith Panthers) and Gavin Cooper (North Queensland Cowboys) gathered ahead of what shapes as an extraordinary Finals Series.

The 2017 NRL Telstra Premiership Finals Series begins on Friday night when Sydney Roosters hosts Brisbane Broncos in the Qualifying Final at Allianz Stadium.

Storm Captain Smith was present at the Launch ahead of his record-breaking 356th NRL match - in the Qualifying Final against Parramatta Eels on Saturday at AAMI Park.

NRL Chief Executive Officer Todd Greenberg said it would be a fitting way to kick off the Finals Series.

“This will no doubt be an incredible Finals Series and we want as many of our supporters as possible to experience it,” Mr Greenberg said.

“We have taken a fan-first approach, with affordable tickets, special food and beverage packages, integrated transport as well as interactive game day activations.

“Our stars deserve to have as many people as possible watching them in the most important matches of the season.”

Ticket prices for NRL Club Ticketed Members start from $50 for families and $20 for adults at every venue. General Public tickets start from $65 for families and $25 for Adults at Sydney games.

Tickets are now on sale for Ticketed Club Members, while tickets for non-ticketed members will be on sale at 1pm and for nrl.com members at 4pm today (September 4).

Finals Series tickets will be on sale to the general public at 10am on Tuesday (September 5) at www.nrl.com/tickets.

All tickets to Allianz Stadium matches include return transport on Sydney trains and direct buses from Central to Allianz Stadium.

Special Food and Beverage options will be available at Sydney Finals Series matches including a new ‘Seat and Eat’ at Allianz Stadium games. This ticket includes a seat on the upper East section of the stadium and unlimited food from a sausage sizzle, hot chips and popcorn as well as a soft drink.

At every venue, there will be fireworks, roving entertainers and bands, a Let’s Make History photo booth, kids' games and activities, as well as face painters and air brush tattoo artists.

Fans are also reminded that tickets for the NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final, on October 1, are also on sale at www.nrl.com/tickets.
