The North Queensland Cowboys will take on the Wests Tigers in a pre-season trial at Barlow Park, Cairns on February 17.
Cowboys co-captain Matt Scott and young centre Shaun Hudson will both be aiming to make their return in the match after spending 10 months on the sidelines with knee injuries.
"I'm excited about the prospect of getting back on to the footy field and I'm eyeing that trial against the Wests Tigers in Cairns, which will be a great atmosphere," Cairns-raised Cowboy Gideon Gela-Mosby told cowboys.com.au.
"I had a great year playing up there with the Pride, so it will good to chance a chance for a run in front of the Cowboys' Cairns members and fans."
