The Warriors have signed Gold Coast Titans utility Karl Lawton on a two-year deal, while also upgrading the contracts of young hooker Sam Cook and fullback Hayze Perham.

Lawton adds to the club's depth in the halves, hooker after the departure of Ata Hingano and can also cover the outside backs, having made 12 NRL appearances since his debut in 2016.

"We're thrilled to be able to secure Karl so quickly following Ata Hingano's departure," Warriors football manager Brian Smith said.

"While Karl's versatility is valuable, most of all he'll give us experience and add to our depth."
