The Broncos suffered a blow in round two with Jordan Kahu suffering a broken jaw during their 24-20 win over the Cowboys.

Lock Mitch Barnett left the field with a head knock against the Raiders. Co-captain Jamie Buhrer is due back in round 3.

North Queensland Cowboys

Parramatta Eels

Parramatta hooker Cameron King left the field due to a nasty head knock in the Eels' embarrassing loss to the Sea Eagles.

The Eels are taking a cautious approach with Clint Gutherson's knee injury, with his return pushed back from round three to round eight by the Eels. Tony Williams is suspended for the opening two rounds but should have recovered from a knee injury once that is served.

Penrith Panthers

Kiwi international Dean Whare made a successful return from injury on the weekend but the news wasn't so good for teammate Tim Browne, who ruptured his bowel in the Intrust Super Premiership fixture prior to the main game. The club is expected to provide further details later in the week on Browne's recovery time. Sam McKendry's scans have confirmed the worst with the Penrith prop suffering another ACL injury on his troublesome right knee. It is the third year running that McKendry has injured his ACL. 

South Sydney Rabbitohs

Tyrell Fuimaono (dislocated toe, indefinite)

Greg Inglis was a casualty in the side's 18-14 loss to the Penrith Panthers over the weekend and will need to pass concussion protocol in a bid to play Manly on Saturday night. Tyrell Fuimaono is out after dislocating his toe in the loss to the Panthers.

St George Illawarra Dragons

Flying Roosters winger Daniel Tupou faces a long stint on the sidelines after tearing his pectoral muscle early in the side's big win over the Bulldogs.
