Jack Wighton is the late withdrawal from the Raiders side, with Nick Cotric moving to fullback and Michael Oldfield onto the wing. Jack Murchie was the other Raiders player to be dropped from the squad 24 hours out from kick-off. Blake Austin and Josh Papalii will not play against the Bulldogs after being dropped from the squad 24 hours out from kick-off. Liam Knight returns to the 17. Luke Bateman moves to lock and Elliott Whitehead to the second row.

Greg Eastwood has made the final 17 for Canterbury and will start the match on the interchange bench. John Olive and Rhyse Martin were the final two players from dropped from the bench an hour before kick-off. Aiden Tolman is out due to an ankle injury, with Adam Elliott starting at lock and Kerrod Holland joining the bench. Fa'amanu Brown and Francis Tualalo were the two players dropped from the squad 24 hours out from kick-off.

Josh Dugan (groin) is a late withdrawal at fullback, prompting a switch for Matt Moylan from five-eighth to fullback in his return from a two-game absence with a hamstring injury. Trent Hodkinson has been promoted to start at five-eighth. The Sharks have won both games Hodkinson has started. Kurt Dillion and Jack Williams were dropped from the squad 24 hours out from kick-off. Edrick Lee has been omitted from the final line-up.

The Roosters are unchanged despite going down 30-6 to the Warriors at home last week. Mitchell Cornish and Lindsay Collins were dropped from the squad 24 hours out from game time. Kurt Baptiste and Nat Butcher were omitted an hour before kick-off.

Adam Reynolds is set to return at halfback, pushing Adam Doueihi to the bench, while Dane Gagai is named on the wing with Hymel Hunt at centre. Jason Clarke fills the vacant bench spot, with Braidon Burns and Kyle Turner both omitted. Robbie Farah was dropped 24 hours before kick-off.

Curtis Sironen and Kelepi Tanginoa (both ACL, season) are out with Frank Winterstein starting in the second row and Jack Gosiewski moving into the 17. Lewis Brown and Toafofoa Sipley were omitted 24 hours prior to kick-off with Trbojevic and Taniela Paseka cut from the final squad. Brad Parker became ill after the warm-up and was replaced by Jonathan Wright.
