Brisbane prop Matt Lodge has been charged for a dangerous throw after an incident in the 76th minute of the Broncos' 34-20 loss to the Melbourne Storm on Friday night at Suncorp Stadium.
Lodge was charged by the NRL Match Review Committee and faces a one-game ban if found guilty of the offence.
However, with no carry-over points, Lodge can avoid suspension by taking an early plea.
The Broncos have won three of seven games and are on the road against South Sydney next Thursday.
