Cowboys lock Jason Taumalolo.

With most of the league on hiatus Jason Taumalolo led the way in the first bye round of the season, while there was a Fantasy blast from the past with Robbie Farah showing he's still got it.

Winners

Taumalolo (91) proved to be the best captaincy choice of the round, playing the full 80 minutes for the first time in 2018 and producing season-high numbers for run metres (234), tackle breaks (11) and offloads (4).

Parramatta prop Daniel Alvaro was the next best with 87, bringing his season average to 52 points a game. He now looks more and more like a point-of-difference keeper with just 3.8% ownership (by comparison, Taumalolo is now in 43.6% of Fantasy teams).

Manly duo Apisai Koroisau (76) and Martin Taupau (70) both got through a lot of work in the Sea Eagles' loss to North Queensland, while boom Roosters young gun Victor Radley (69) made the most of a rare starting spot and teammate Cooper Cronk (65) also made a season-high score.

Elsewhere Kalyn Ponga excelled once again for the Knights in their win over Parramatta with 68 points, Farah replaced Blues hooker Damien Cook in the No.9 jersey for Souths and didn't miss a beat with 64, while Cameron Murray also made the most of another run in the Rabbitohs starting side with 57 and Daly Cherry-Evans made 57 in a losing side for Manly.

NRL Fantasy Review - Round 13

Losers

He's been a breakout Fantasy star this season but Roosters forward Ryan Matterson spent another week on the sidelines as he recovers from a head injury which was bad news for his Fantasy coaches.

It was a similar story for Eels fullback Bevan French who filled in at fullback this week only to succumb to a head knock himself after two minutes and finish with a score of zero. His teammate Mitch Moses managed 9 points before leaving the field with a knee injury, with Michael Jennings, Lloyd Perrett, Kurt Baptiste and Roosters debutant Matt Ikuvalu all finishing with single-digit scores.

Now fingers crossed all the State of Origin stars come through Wednesday night's game unscathed and are able to back up for this week's matches.
