Standing tickets have been added for Holden State of Origin I, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday, June 6.

The NRL has added the allocation of standing tickets, which are now on sale from $35.

NRL Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Abdo said the standing tickets had been released due to other category seating being now limited.

"Ticket sales have been excellent over the past few weeks and while there are still some good seats available, there are limited General Public tickets remaining in most categories," Mr Abdo said.

"We still have restricted view seating available for $15 and now we have standing tickets from $35.

"This represents great value for the biggest sporting rivalry in the country."

The pre-match entertainment, a lights-out spectacular featuring the story of Origin through water, light and vision as well as a performance from Peking Duk, will commence at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available through nrl.com/tickets.
