Cameron Smith showed he's no spent force yet, Ryan James and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck bounced back into form in a big way and a new player joined the century club as the NRL Fantasy head-to-head finals heated up.

Winners

Joe Tapine couldn't get his Raiders side over the line in another close one against the Wests Tigers but he did join an exclusive NRL Fantasy club with an even 100 on Sunday, featuring two tries, three line breaks, 152 run metres and 10 tackle busts.

Parramatta halfback Mitch Moses was the week's next best with 92 as the Eels thrashed the Dragons, notching a try and four try assists, while Matt Lodge (83) and Ryan James (79) both scored tries and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (78) made 11 tackle breaks and ran for a staggering 338 metres against the Knights.

After Damien Cook's stupendous recent form he was easily outscored by Cameron Smith this week, with the Storm skipper making 75 in a narrow loss to the Sharks while Cook was held to 47 in South Sydney's loss to the Roosters.

Manly trio Daly Cherry-Evans (74), Addin Fonua-Blake (74) and Tom Trbojevic (72) all excelled in the Sea Eagles' win over the Bulldogs, while Jarryd Hayne (68) and Valentine Holmes (63) both continued their excellent late-season run of form.

Losers

In a week when several big-name players copped injuries – with Ryan Hoffman's career in the balance and Jared Waerea-HargreavesGareth Widdop, James Maloney, Wade Graham, Josh Dugan, Luke Lewis, Matt Prior all joining the casualty ward – most eyes in the Fantasy footy world will be on how Martin Taupau (46) backs up from a knee injury he picked up against the Bulldogs.

For the first time ever Bulldogs rookie Rhyse Martin gets a run in the "losers" section of this column, purely because we've come to expect so much from the Dogs' goal-kicking workhorse. A season-high six missed tackles and three errors cost him a combined 18 points in demerits and he still made a not-too-bad 34 in Canterbury's loss to Manly.

There weren't too many genuinely bad scores from popular Fantasy players but in finals match-ups any sub-par results took their toll, with Manase Fainu (32), Sam Burgess (30), James Roberts (29), Dane Gagai (25) and AJ Brimson (20) all underwhelming.
