NRLW Tipping: Grand final - see what the experts are saying

The NRL Holden Women's Premiership has reached grand final day, with the unbeaten Broncos facing the Roosters. Read Tarsha Gale's preview of the match and see what the NRL.com tipsters have to say.

In the battle for the tipping title, Hayley Byrnes needs the Broncos to win to claim top honours. If the Roosters win, there will be a tie at the top between Tanisha Stanton, Alicia Newton, Katie Brown and Byrnes.

Tarsha Gale's prediction: The Broncos are going into this history-making grand final as hot favourites. They remain undefeated after last week's convincing victory over the Warriors. They started the competition strongly and have improved with each game. Their classy spine remains unchanged and their forward pack has dominated every week.

The Roosters seem to have finally got their act together and managed an impressive 26-0 win over the  Dragons last week. It seems their star-studded squad are finally living up to expectations. Not a second too soon! Zahara Temara's kicking game certainly helped them in the field of play but her missing five conversions will have to be something she needs to work on this week.

The Roosters need to contain the middle, apply a lot more pressure on Ali Brigginshaw and get the ball out wide to Isabelle Kelly and Taleena Simon. I'm expecting great things from Vanessa Foliaki both in attack and defence and for Elianna Walton to continue her powerful and inspiring runs up the middle. It's a lot to ask, but that's what grand finals are all about.
