The NRL has completed its investigation into an alleged racist comment during the Australia v Tonga Test match on Saturday night.

That process included the facilitation of a meeting between the two involved parties – the complainant Mr Aholelei and a casual employee engaged by the NRL for the evening’s Test Match.

Mr Aholelei has informed the NRL that he has accepted an apology and the individual’s explanation for his comments.

The individual has agreed to attend cultural training and education.

The NRL abhors racism of any form.
