Panthers winger Tyrone Phillips.

Penrith Panthers winger Tyrone Phillips has been charged with mid-range drink driving, the club confirmed on Sunday.

The matter has been reported to the NRL Integrity Unit, which has advised the Panthers to allow the matter to go through the court process.

It is the latest in a series of off-field incidents involving Penrith players in 2019.

The club has said it will not make further comment on the matter at this time.
