The cream rose to the top in Magic Round as premiership heavyweights Melbourne, Souths and the Roosters all won and their stars dominated the Team of the Week.

Bunnies hooker Damien Cook (60%) was a clear choice as the standout No.9 in Magic Round while his team-mates Sam Burgess and Cameron Murray also got the nod.

The Storm's emphatic win over the Eels catapulted flying winger Josh Addo-Carr, five-eighth Cameron Munster and returning centre Curtis Scott into the Team of the Week.

Scott (27%) and Team of the Week centre partner Latrell Mitchell (30%) both left the field injured in their respective games but did enough in their time on the paddock to top the votes.

With State of Origin selection looming, Newcastle's Mitchell Pearce made Blues coach Brad Fittler sit up and take notice with a five-star display against the Bulldogs which saw him beat out Adam Reynolds and Luke Brooks to the halfback role in Magic Round's Team of the Week.
