A trio of impressive youngsters have joined a host of the NRL's best players in winning selection to the Team of the Week for Round 11.

As well as winning selection for the NSW side that will take on Queensland at Suncorp Stadium on June 5, Payne Haas's impressive performance against the Warriors on Saturday was enough to land him a front-row spot alongside David Klemmer.

Sharks pair Bronson Xerri and Briton Nikora complete the list of up-and-coming youngsters to be voted onto the team by fans. They played important roles in their side's win over St George Illawarra in Wollongong on Sunday.

The remainder of the team includes Team of the Week regulars Kalyn Ponga, Damien Cook, Jason Taumalolo and Sam Burgess.

Seven of the 13 players to be voted in will be playing in next Wednesday's Origin series opener.
