The growing number of international players in the NRL has been reflected in the Team of the Week for Round 19 of the Telstra Premiership.

Six players who play their Test football for countries other than Australia were rewarded by fans for strong weekend performances.

Anthony Milford (Samoa), Maika Sivo (Fiji), Kotoni Staggs (Tonga), Benji Marshall (New Zealand) and English duo Josh Hodgson and John Bateman all proved popular in the fan vote.

Staggs finished with an impressive 50 per cent of the vote for the centre position.

The battle for the other centre spot could not have been any closer. After more than 9000 people cast their votes, Sharks rookie Bronson Xerri snared a spot in the team after finishing one vote ahead of Joey Manu (Roosters).

The most popular player in any single position from Beanies for Brain Cancer Round was Manly halfback Daly Cherry Evans. He finished with 59 per cent of the vote. Eels No.7 Mitchell Moses was next best with 17 per cent.
