Dragons prop Paul Vaughan needed just one hand to win the NRL Tackle of the Week for Round 20.

Shortly after suffering a dislocated finger, Vaughan was able to get his good hand on Eels fullback Clint Gutherson and drag him to the ground at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Sunday.

He was later penalised for holding Gutherson down so he could seek medical attention, but voters were nonetheless impressed by his show of strength.

Bulldogs fullback Dallin Watene-Zelezniak finished second for his try-saving effort against his former club on Saturday night.

Penrith's Liam Martin and Brisbane prop Matt Lodge completed the list of finalists.
