The NRL announces the Team of the 1970s at a function at the Sydney Opera House. The team announced was: Graeme Langlands; Kerry Boustead, Mick Cronin, Steve Rogers, Terry Fahey; Bob Fulton, Tom Raudonikis; Malcolm Reilly, Bob McCarthy, Ron Coote, Arthur Beetson, Max Krilich and John O’Neill.
