Parramatta refused to get carried away after Sunday's record-breaking finals win over Brisbane, stressing: "The job's not done."
There was no champagne popped following the 58-0 rout at a pulsating Bankwest Stadium as the Eels locked their focus on Saturday's preliminary qualifier against minor premiers Melbourne.
"It's a good feeling but it's still not done for us yet; we know the task that's in front us," prop Junior Paulo told NRL.com.
"It was good to get a home semi-final and the way we performed, we can be proud of our efforts.
"But the job's still not done and it's something we're looking to build on next week. There won't be too much celebrating."
Brad Arthur's men will make the daunting journey to AAMI Park to face the Storm, who are sure to be seething after losing to Canberra at home.
"We know how tough a road trip it's going to be," Paulo said.

"But I think if we go out and play the footy we've been playing over the past couple weeks, we'll back ourselves.
"We're definitely confident and when we show up on our day, [the Brisbane win] shows exactly what we're capable of."
Paulo will be fresh to take on Melbourne, the damaging front-rower only deployed for 30 minutes against the Broncos with the result sealed early.
"I just thought we had do to our job and individually and as a team we nailed it, one to 17," Paulo said.

"We take a lot of confidence into next week and we know we need to keep turning up the same way."
Eels captain Clint Gutherson has full faith his troops can upset the Storm and ultimately press for the title.
"It's exciting - everyone's backing Melbourne and Roosters and stuff to win the comp so we've just got to keep going out and have that belief," Gutherson said.
Parramatta's last meeting with the Storm was a horror show for the western Sydney side, a 64-10 shellacking in round nine.
"You don't want to lose by 60, that's a fact. We were in it just before half-time and a couple of things didn't go our way and we just crumbled," Gutherson said.
"That's a long time ago and hopefully we can learn off that and go down to Melbourne and a shock a few people.
"When you lose by 60 you look at yourself. It's a different ballpark now and we're a different team.
"We always had that belief things were going to go differently if we really stuck our heads down."

With the Raiders defeating the Storm at AAMI Park twice in the past five weeks, Gutherson said the Eels will keenly study Canberra's blueprint.
"You want to go against the best teams and that's what finals is about," Gutherson said.
"We're going to get into the video this week and have a look at what Canberra did and have a look at what other teams do."
