After a pair of upset losses to start the season, crunch time has arrived for the Dragons and Roosters NRLW teams.

Both sides need wins to keep their season alive and prevent the Broncos and Warriors from locking in spots in the grand final with a week remaining in the regular season.

The Dragons will be hoping their attack improves after they were limited to just one try against the Broncos last weekend while the Roosters need to beat a Brisbane side yet to lose a NRLW match.

NRLW Round 2 tips and previews

Broncos v Roosters, Saturday, 5.05pm at AAMI Park

Tarsha Gale says: The Roosters didn't live up to expectations last week and looked clunky in attack. If Simaima Taufa doesn't receive the support she needs from her forward pack the Broncos will be allowed dominate the middle. This will give Ali Brigginshaw the opportunity to do what she does best and orchestrate her team to another victory. Broncos by 8

Warriors v Dragons, Sunday, 1.15pm at Mt Smart Stadium

Tarsha Gale says: In the first NRLW game in New Zealand, the Warriors are coming off an impressive win last week against the Roosters. It looks like the odds are stacked against the Dragons, but I'm predicting an upset at Mt Smart Stadium. Their forwards, led by Kezie Apps, will all find that little bit extra to make up for the loss of Teuila Fotu-Moala. Dragons by 4
