1. Ryan Papenhuyzen: Sensational performance to finish with 221 metres from 22 runs. Constant danger to the defence with his blistering speed around the middle of the ruck. Forced off the field with 12 minutes to play after a head clash with Kenny Bromwich as they made a desperate bid to stop James Tedesco's try. 9/10

17. Will Chambers: Playing out of position on the wing and out-jumped totally by Daniel Tupou for Roosters' first try. Struggled to make an impact. 5.5

3. Curtis Scott: Solid defensively and made some good inroads in attack with 13 runs for 111 metres but only had limited opportunities. 6.5

4. Justin Olam: Ran with plenty of power the entire game to finish with 133 metres from 17 runs. One of the most improved players in the NRL. 7.5

5. Josh Addo-Carr: Quiet first half and gave away a silly penalty when he dragged Daniel Tupou into touch. Only had eight runs for the match. 5

6. Cameron Munster: Struggled with his kicking game in the first half but worked his way into the game after the break. 7

7. Jahrome Hughes: Kicked the ball out on the full in first half and had no runs but made amends early in second half when he burst into the back field and a try soon followed. Came right into the game with ball in hand as defenders started to tire and had six tackle breaks. 7

8. Jesse Bromwich: Failed to have a big impact in first stint and was replaced after 20 minutes. Gave away a silly penalty early in second half to let Roosters out of trouble. A quiet night by his lofty standards with 10 runs for 87 metres. 6.5

9. Cameron Smith: Got through a power of work defensively with 48 tackles but could not work his usual magic to get the Storm across the line in the second half. 6.5

10. Nelson Asofa-Solomona: Explosive start to the game when he was sin-binned after 20 seconds for slapping Siosiua Taukeiaho. Powered across the stripe in the 51st minute to get Storm back into the game and finished with 133 metres, including 48 post-contact metres. 7.5

11. Felise Kaufusi: Left the field after 25 minutes for an HIA and did not return in a huge blow to the Storm. 3.5

12. Kenny Bromwich: Quiet in the first half but worked tirelessly after the break in attack and defence. 6.5

13: Dale Finucane: The Storm's best forward on the night with a tireless 80-minute display. Got through 37 tackles and made 115 metres from 17 runs. 8

14: Brandon Smith: Came into the game after 20 minutes and provided immediate punch with a strip. His power makes him a danger to the defence every time he handles the ball. 7

15: Tui Kamikamica: Came on when Kaufusi left the field for his HIA and had limited impact. 5

16: Max King: Only played 15 minutes at the end of the match. 4

21. Sandor Earl: A late addition to the bench but only got 12 minutes of game time. 3
