1994   

The Auckland Warriors name 11 internationals in their first trial outfit to play New Zealand provincial side Canterbury in January.

1995   

Ben Elias and Steve Roach are awarded life membership of the Tigers.

1997   

The ARL secures the final funding of $16.5 million from Optus, Channel Nine and News Limited to enable its 11 teams to enter the national competition on an equal financial footing with the nine Super League clubs.

1999   

South Sydney star Craig Wing announces he wants to play for Sydney City in 2000 after fielding offers from five NRL clubs and interest from rugby union officials.

2010   

The NRL confirms it will register the contract of Greg Inglis after the Rabbitohs freed up room under their salary cap by releasing centre Beau Champion, who signs for three years with the Melbourne Storm.
