After captaining the team during his seven-year stint, which included the 2010 grand final loss to St George Illawarra, he finished his career with two seasons at the Wests Tigers.

Anasta played four Tests for Australia, plus another for Greece in 2013, as well as 10 Origins for NSW.

A prolific try scorer he joined the 100 Club in 2020 when he bagged 23 four-pointers for the season and followed that up with a stunning 2021 campaign in which he bagged 30 tries in 22 games to help Souths to the grand final.

Johnston sits third on South Sydney's all time tryscoring list with 136, just eight behind Benny Wearing and 10 behind Nathan Merritt.
