The South Sydney Rabbitohs and Gold Coast Titans joined together to take a knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement ahead of Saturday's match at Bankwest Stadium.
The move, which was officially sanctioned by the NRL, followed similar shows of support from players from the Cowboys, Warriors, Eels and Panthers players on Friday night, with the Melbourne Storm also showing their support for the movement at the suggestion of star winger Josh Addo-Carr.
The match officials joined both teams in the show of solidarity on Saturday.
NRL acting chief executive Andrew Abdo said the players had the support of the NRL to take a united approach.
"I commend the players for demonstrating a united and inclusive approach," Abdo said.
"Sport brings people together and allows us to celebrate diverse cultures and backgrounds. The diverse heritage of our players and our genuine spirit of inclusivity is part of the game we love.
"Our players should be applauded for promoting positive social change."
At Bankwest Stadium on Friday night Eels and Panthers players took a knee at full-time to raise awareness for Aboriginal deaths in custody, after the Cowboys and Warriors took a similar stand at Central Coast Stadium.
Twelve percent of the NRL's elite players are Indigenous, and 45 percent have Pacifica heritage.
