Anthony Seibold says he hold no fears for his job after the Broncos sunk to their fifth consecutive loss and their worst ever defeat by the Gold Coast Titans.
The 30-12 loss at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night has the Broncos in danger of being last after seven rounds if the Bulldogs beat Wests Tigers on Sunday, but Seibold said he was not concerned about being replaced as head coach.
"I haven't really thought about that," Seibold said.
"I am trying to stay in the present. I have a five-year deal here and I think I am the right person to try and bring this group through.
"If the board think otherwise, or Paul White the CEO thinks otherwise, they will tell me.
"It is like you guys [in the media]. I am sure you are not looking over your shoulder for your own jobs. I am not looking over my shoulder. I am trying to work as hard as I can.
"I'll get up and go again in the morning. It is frustrating. This is the first time I have lost five games in a row as a head coach."

Seibold presented to the Broncos board on Friday about his team's performances and the future, after which he received the public support of chairman Karl Morris.
He said he didn't expect to be called in by the board after the latest loss and insisted the Broncos could still make the finals.
"I don't think that would be the case with regards to [the board] calling me in," he said.
"If they make the decision that they don't think I am the right person then I don't think they will be asking my opinion.
"I signed a long-term deal here. The last five weeks have been super-challenging.
"The first two years as a coach I was able to get the sides to the play-offs. After seven rounds last year we had won two games and were able to make the play-offs. That is still our aim. We have probably got to win eight of our next 13 games but that is not impossible and not improbable.
"The members and supporters have seen lots of good times over the last 30-odd and a few challenges along the way, and this is one that we are in at the present.
"I'd like to think the supporters and members will continue to support the group because that is what they need."
Seibold said the Broncos hurt themselves with poor execution and errors while conceding his side showed fight in the second half.
"I don't see any lack of effort," he said.
The coach would not single out under siege halves Anthony Milford and Brodie Croft but said in attack the side was "really frantic" in the opposition quarter.
"We'll have to take a look at that," he said.
"We are down on confidence with regards to our attack."
The Broncos do have an injury concern with prop Matt Lodge limping off late in the second-half clutching his left knee.
"Potentially there is some meniscus damage to his knee. It is not his the knee he's been rehabbing. It is his other knee," Seibold said.
"The initial diagnosis is that it is nothing too serious but until we get a scan we won't know."
