Cowboys: North Queensland are 1-17. Coach Paul Green has made changes to his backline, recalling Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow at fullback, moving Val Holmes to wing, recalling Connelly Lemuelu at centre with Justin O'Neill injured and Tom Opacic dropping out.

Corey Jensen and Jake Granville dropped out of the squad on game day after Murray Taulagi and Reuben Cotter were the two players to drop out 24 hours before the match. The Cowboys have averaged 26 points per game at QCB Stadium.

Roosters: Brett Morris was a late withdrawal after suffering a groin injury in the warm-up, with Matt Ikuvalu to replace him. Winger Daniel Tupou (ankle) and skipper Boyd Cordner (rested - head knock) are out. Ryan Hall starts on the wing and Mitch Aubusson in the back row with Lachlan Lam joining the bench. Daniel Fifita was trimmed from the reserves list an hour before kick-off and Drew Hutchison and Freddy Lussick were omitted on Wednesday night. Brett and Josh Morris have scored a combined 10 tries in their past five games.

Titans: The Titans will start 1-17 after Jai Whitbread and Nathan Peats were dropped from the squad 60 minutes before kick-off. Corey Thompson returns to fullback with Treymain Spry to debut on the wing and Tyrone Roberts to the reserves. Sam Stone is called up in the back row with Beau Fermor switching to centre and Tyrone Peachey to the bench. Erin Clark starts for hooker Mitch Rein (ankle). Greg Leleisiuao and Roberts were omitted from the extended squad 24 hours before kick-off. The Titans have lost their past 10 games at Cbus Super Stadium.

Warriors: In a late positional change, Tohu Harris (No.12) moves to lock with Karl Lawton (No.13) to start in the second row. Adam Pompey and Lachlan Burr were omitted an hour before the match. Captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck returns from a one-game suspension to fullback with Peta Hiku shifting to centre and Gerard Beale out. Chanel Harris-Tavita starts at five-eighth for Kodi Nikorima (head knock) with Jazz Tevaga back from injury on the bench.

Tevaga said earlier this week he'd prefer to play lock rather than hooker with Wayde Egan able to go the distance at dummy-half. Tuivasa-Sheck has scored a try in five of his past six games against the Titans.

Gerard Beale and King Vuniyayawa were cut from the squad 24 hours before kick-off.

Rabbitohs: The Bunnies are 1-17. Centre Braidon Burns is out due to a season-ending knee injury. Bayley Sironen returns from a minor back complaint on the bench. Steve Marsters and Troy Dargan were trimmed from the reserves on Thursday night and Corey Allan and Mark Nicholls were omitted an hour before game time. The Rabbitohs have won their past three games at Bankwest Stadium.

Wests Tigers: A late change for Michael Maguire with veteran Chris Lawrence promoted to the starting side and Michael Chee-Kam going to the bench. Russell Packer and Chris McQueen were the last two cut an hour before kick-off.

Reece Hoffman debuts on the wing in place of the injured Tommy Talau (hamstring). Veteran playmaker Benji Marshall replaces young forward Sam McIntyre (concussion) on the bench.

Chee-Kam had originally been named at centre for the suspended Joey Leilua. Moses Mbye (knee) and Luciano Leilua (head knock) are good to go. Winger David Nofoaluma has scored five tries in his past four games at Bankwest Stadium.

Broncos: Cory Paix replaces Tom Dearden on the bench, with Rhys Kennedy the other player omitted from the squad on game day. Kotoni Staggs and Matt Lodge were the two players left out of the squad 24 hours before kick-off, with Staggs' return from a hamstring injury delayed for another week.

Tevita Pangai jnr has been shifted to prop, Thomas Flegler to the bench and Corey Oates to starting in the second row. The Broncos will aim to avoid seven straight losses for the first time since 2005.

Bulldogs: Sione Katoa starts at hooker with Jeremy Marshall-King moving to the bench and Kerrod Holland out of the side. Chris Smith was the other player to drop out an hour before kick-off, after Lachlan Lewis and Jack Cogger were the two players omitted the day before the game.

Lock Adam Elliott is out with a dislocated shoulder, with British recruit Luke Thompson making his club debut in the No.13 jersey. The Bulldogs have not defeated the Broncos at Suncorp since 2015.

Raiders: A late switch for the Raiders with debutant Kai O'Donnell moving into the starting side at lock in No.15 and Joseph Tapine reverting to the bench.

Sia Soliola (facial fracture) and Emre Guler (ankle) are out with Dunamis Lui back at starting prop alongside Josh Papalii with Ryan Sutton reverting to the pine.

Jordan Rapana has recovered from a calf strain and has taken Curtis Scott's place on the interchange. Matt Frawley and Darby Medlyn were omitted 24 hours before kick-off while Tom Starling and Scott were the last two cut an hour before kick-off. The Raiders have won their past three games against the Storm.

Storm: Brenko Lee and Tom Eisenhuth have come into the starting side an hour before kick-off. Marion Seve drops out of the squad and Tino Fa’Asuamaleaui goes to the bench. Nicho Hynes has been added to the bench.

Ryley Jacks has been named to start in the halves with Cameron Smith at hooker and Brandon Smith on the bench.

Five-eighth Cameron Munster (knee) was named on the extended bench but was ruled out 24 hours before kick-off along with Felise Kaufusi (knee swelling).

Knights: Connor Watson (ankle) won't be making his return on Sunday and Adam O'Brien has made a late switch with Tautau Moga elevated from the reserves to the wing and Tex Hoy relegated to the bench.

Starford To'a has been omitted an hour before kick-off along with Josh King. Watson and Phoenix Crossland were culled from the extended squad 24 hours before kick-off. 

Knights to face their biggest test of the season against Eels

"He will be raring to go next week," O'Brien said of Watson. "It's a bonus weeks' worth of training now and he’ll be 100 percent. He was very close though, this week."

The Knights have won four of their past five games against the Eels.

Eels: Nathan Brown returns from suspension at lock, pushing Marata Niukore to the bench. Stefano Utoikamanu debuts off the bench with Ray Stone and Oregon Kaufusi out of the team. 

Will Smith and Andrew Davey were the players cut from the reserves list on Saturday, George Jennings and Daniel Alvaro suffered the same fate on Sunday. Eels forward David Gower will make his 100th NRL appearance.

Dragons: The Dragons will start 1-17 after Tim Lafai and Tristan Sailor were the last two players omitted. Tariq Sims is back from a wrist injury in the second row, pushing Tyrell Fuimaono to the bench. Ben Hunt starts at hooker with Cameron McInnes in the No.13 jersey and Trent Merrin back to the bench. Jordan Pereira replaces Jason Saab on the wing. The Dragons have won four of their past five games against the Sea Eagles.

Saab and Korbin Sims were omitted from the extended squad 24 hours before kick-off.

Sea Eagles: In a major re-shuffle announced an hour before kick-off, Brendan Elliot (No.19) will start at fullback, Rueben Garrick on the wing, Cade Cust (No.14) at five-eighth and Morgan Boyle (No.17) at prop. Tevita Funa (No.5) and Corey Waddell were the two players dropped from the squad. After being named to start on Tuesday, Taniela Paseka and Lachlan Croker will start the match on the interchange bench. Abbas Miski and Haumole Olakau'atu were cut from the reserves 24 hours before kick-off. Coach Des Hasler has a 7-2 record against the Dragons’ Paul McGregor.
