Stevenson Upulasi.

St George Illawarra are mourning the death of Jersey Flegg player Stevenson Upulasi.

Upulasi had been involved in a car accident on Monday. The club announced the tragic news of his passing on Thursday.

There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the crash.

Upulasi joined the Dragons' under-20 squad ahead of the 2020 season after spending the year prior with St George's SG Ball Under-18s team.

Prior to joining the Dragons, he was part of the Sharks junior representative system. 

A moment's silence for Upulasi will be held prior to Saturday's NRL match between the Sharks and Dragons.

The Dragons send their sincere condolences to Upulasi's family and friends.
