Payne Haas's two-game suspension could cost him the VB Hard Earned title with the Broncos prop shuffled back from first to fifth on the leaderboard in just one week.

Sea Eagles lock Jake Trbojevic has hit the lead, while fellow forwards Tohu Harris (Warriors), Isaah Yeo (Panthers) and Cameron McInnes (Dragons) are also now in front of Haas.

But while Haas has slipped down the rankings, his Brisbane teammate Pat Carrigan came out on top for round 15.

The lock produced a VB Hard Earned index score of 107, cranking out 25 runs for 258 metres as well as 46 tackles in a herculean effort in a 28-24 loss to the Dragons.

Knights lock Mitchell Barnett was the only other player to register a ton last week, with his score of 104 built on 19 carries and 38 tackles in a tough win against North Queensland.

Each player's VB Hard Earned index score is calculated by doubling their total runs and adding a point for every tackle, offload, decoy, support, charge down and tackle break.

Negative plays lower the index score. One point is taken off per missed tackle, while errors and penalties cost four points. Being sin-binned results in eight points being subtracted.

Other big scores came from Newcastle prop David Klemmer (94), Eels back-rower Ryan Matterson (93), Roosters bookend Siosiua Taukeiaho (91) and Raiders fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (68).

Back to the overall leaderboard, Penrith prop James Fisher-Harris, Klemmer and Carrigan filled spots six to eight.
