The final round of regular league matches before head to head finals (under default settings) brought some serious highs and lows, with James Tedesco's brilliant century the highlight.

Winners

Tedesco's five straight games without passing 60 came to an end in fine style as the test and Origin fullback toyed with Brisbane's defence to the tune of one try, 12 busts, 217 metres and a ridiculous five try assists for 112 Fantasy points.

Well done to those who gambled on him breaking his slump and made him captain.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (93) produced his best score of the year with a match-winning double against Newcastle while Nathan Cleary (92) was easily the best of the obvious (non-Tedesco) captaincy picks as he guided Penrith to a convincing win over the Wests Tigers. That was 30 points clear of the next-best choice, Pat Carrigan (62).

Storm finish it in style

Briton Nikora (90) bagged a double, Adam Reynolds (88) was in everything in a big win over the Eels, Josh Addo-Carr (79) had a field day against Manly and Raiders duo Jack Wighton (78) and Joe Tapine (75) were brilliant against Canterbury.

Sitili Tupouniua (75), Nat Butcher (72) and Josh Morris (69) cashed in in the try-fest against Brisbane while Addin Fonua-Blake (71) and Liam Martin (70) rounded out the big scores.

Tyrone Peachey (66) rewarded coaches who brought him in at centre with a big game at lock, Tom Starling (66) made up for his sin bin with two tries, David Fifita (65) found his way to the line despite the huge loss to the Roosters and Kyle Flanagan (63) is rewarding those who held.

RTS leaves Pearce and Ponga behind on his way to a double

AJ Brimson (63) is proving an excellent late-season pick-up and Jarome Luai (62) has back-to-back big scores.

Bayley Sironen (51) is hitting form, Adam Clune (45) hit his best score and while Chris Randall (23) and Sam McIntyre (30) may not have scored well, the fact they were late inclusions into their respective game-day 17s would have been welcome for plenty of coaches who may otherwise have had to run with fewer than 17 scoring players.

Losers

With so many players missing, many coaches were forced to use Tommy Talau in their 17s this week with the winger coming up with four errors and four missed tackles to finish on zero points.

There were below par scores across the board with Kalyn Ponga (34), Zac Lomax (33), Joey Manu (19 despite his team's massive win), Marty Taupau (43 after racing to 32 in 29 minutes), Jake Trbojevic (44) and Siosiua Taukeiaho (20) among those scoring unders.

Injuries once again hurt with Latrell Mitchell (35) on track for another good score before a hamstring injury ended his season and Isaah Yeo's (35) night ended early by a concussion that has him in serious doubt for next round off a short turnaround.

Dylan Brown (37) went off with an ankle injury that puts him out for at least the Fantasy season and Jake Friend (8) also suffered a head knock.
