There's no shortage of storylines in Round 17 including the expected NRL return of Sonny Bill Williams in a grand final rematch between the Roosters and Raiders.
That game will be the crescendo to Saturday's offerings, but there are plenty of intriguing match-ups either side of it.
The red-hot Rabbitohs face the well-oiled Melbourne machine on Friday as they attempt to prove their premiership credentials.
On the same night Newcastle host Cronulla, with both sides desperate to win and cement themselves in the top eight.
And on Sunday the inspirational Warriors continue their unlikely push for the finals when they take on a Parramatta team licking its wounds after a shock hammering against South Sydney.
