Canterbury have confirmed eight players will not be offered 2021 contracts under incoming coach Trent Barrett including Kieran Foran, Aiden Tolman and Marcelo Montoya.
The Bulldogs announced the trio's departure on Tuesday afternoon with the moves to free up at least five spots on the 2021 roster for Barrett to chase further recruits.
The others to depart are outside backs Tim Lafai, Kerrod Holland and Isaiah Tass, playmaker Jack Cogger and former Samoan representative Sauaso Sue.
Bulldogs CEO Andrew Hill thanked the players for their contributions.
"These decisions are never easy and it is important that we acknowledge each individual person for what they brought to the club and for giving their all while they were here," Hill said.
"Anyone who has played or worked here will always be part of our family and welcomed back at any time.

Foran's departure has been well publicised in recent weeks with the luckless playmaker linked to a return to Manly following Barrett's decision to sign Knights veteran Blake Green.
Tolman, 31, could play his final NRL game against the Panthers with the anticipated reduction in squad numbers next season set to affect the competition's depth next season.
Barrett has been active in recruitment since being appointed Bulldogs coach in July, luring Green, Nick Cotric and Corey Waddell to Belmore as part of the roster overhaul.
