After they dominated on the field for the best part of the 80 minutes to take home the Provan Summons Trophy it was only fitting that the Storm would dominate the team of the grand final.

In the wake of Melbourne's 26-20 win the fans voted heavily in favour of Cameron Smith's men, with centre Stephen Crichton the only Panther to break the Storm stranglehold.

Among the standouts were Clive Churchill Medal winner Ryan Papenhuyzen, who collected a whopping 94 per cent of the fullback vote, and Cameron Smith with 88 per cent at hooker.

Crichton's efforts secured him 32 per cent of the fans' vote for best centre, where is paired with Justin Olam (48 per cent).
