Storm play-maker Cameron Munster.

It's grand final rematch time with the red-hot Panthers hosting 2020 premiers the Storm in a Thursday night blockbuster as round three of the 2021 Telstra Premiership kicks off with a pair of heavyweight bouts.

Penrith, who fell to Melbourne in the grand final after finishing the regular season as minor premiers, have begun the season in record-breaking style with back-to-back shutout wins over the Cowboys and Bulldogs.

The Storm, meanwhile, hit a road bump at Bankwest Stadium against Parramatta last Thursday after kicking off their campaign with an impressive home win over South Sydney.

Hot on the heels of that mouth-watering clash, Friday night's main feature pits a potent Rabbitohs line-up against the ladder-leading Roosters, who are fresh off crushing victories over Manly and Wests Tigers.

The round will conclude on Sunday night with another north-of-the-border derby, with the Cowboys hoping to break through for their first win of the season when they host Queensland top dogs the Titans.

NRL.com will have live match centres which include updates as they happen, in-match highlights and live audio coverage.
