It takes a special player to make an impact at the start of their NRL career - and NRL.com and Therabody are spotlighting these rare talents in a new weekly series.

In the Theragun Young Gun series, two exciting players under the age of 25 with fewer than 25 first-grade games to their name will be pitted against each other in a social media vote each round.

Each Sunday, fans will be able to choose between a pair of standout performers on Facebook and Instagram stories.

Harry Grant just keeps getting better

In the first edition of the Theragun Young Gun series in round six, Storm hooker Harry Grant prevailed in the fan vote over impressive debutant Wests Tigers dummy-half Jake Simpkin.

Winners will be announced on Mondays with a monthly wrap-up article and video to go out across NRL.com, NRL TV and social media.

Come the end of the season, a Theragun Young Gun Team of the Year will be revealed and the Therabody Young Gun of the Year crowned during the NRL.com digital Dally M awards presentation.
