Two Rabbitohs forwards were the hardest-working players of round seven according to the VB Hard Earned Index, while Panthers winger Brian To'o is proving to be a forward in a winger's body.
Young edge forward Keaon Koloamatangi was the round's top player with an index score of 91 for his 18 carries, 25 tackles, eight decoys and five busts was his teammate Cam Murray's score of 84 was equal second-best along with Bulldog Luke Thompson and Raider Ryan Sutton.
The real story of the week however is the irrepressible form of To'o, whose monstrous 27 carries against Newcastle earned him an index score of 83 and yet another team of the week nod.
More remarkably, in an index that rewards the hardest-working players of the game and is dominated by busy middle forwards, To'o has pushed his way into the top eight for the season – possibly a first for a winger.
Of To'o's 27 carries, 23 were of eight metres or more and he also had four busts and five tackles as he climbed past the likes of David Klemmer and Christian Welch on the season leaderboard.
Another winger who was impossible to keep out of the game on the weekend was underrated Titan Corey Thompson, who produced a score of 74 with 17 carries and a ridiculous 15 tackle busts.
A week out due to a head knock saw Tohu Harris slide down the season leaderboard with Cam Murray rising from fourth to second. David Fifita goes up two spots to fourth after his phenomenal hat-trick against Souths while Klemmer and Christian Welch slip out of the top eight.
