Stat Attack: Broncos dominate Telstra Tracker

It was a Broncos blitz on the Telstra Tracker leaderboards for round eight as they went into overdrive during a famous victory over the Titans.

Brisbane centre Herbie Farnworth, second-rower Jordan Riki and winger Xavier Coates occupied the top three spots in the high-speed distance (20km/h or more) category for round eight.

Fighting back to incredibly beat the Gold Coast 36-28 after trailing 22-0 following 14 minutes at Suncorp Stadium, the Broncos had little trouble advancing the ball once they got on a roll.

Farnworth (857 high-speed metres) edged out Riki (794m) and Coates (779m) with Manly's Tom Trbojevic (764m) finishing fourth.

Further down the high-speed metres list came Brisbane fullback Jamyne Isaako (6th - 753m), outside back Jesse Arthars (7th - 751m) and winger Corey Oates (10th - 705m) to underline their dominance.

But it didn't stop there.

Coates clocked the fastest speed of the round at 36.7km/h while Farnworth was right behind him with 36.1km/h.

Bulldogs five-eighth Jake Averillo (36km/h), Trbojevic (35.9km/h) and Dragons flyer Cody Ramsey (35.6km/h) came next.

Riki was the lone Broncos player to feature in the top five of the total distance category, ranking fourth with 9.38km.

Panthers halfback Nathan Cleary (9.8km) covered the most ground followed by Roosters sensation Sam Walker (9.5) and Trbojevic (9.4), with Knights hooker Jayden Brailey (9.36) behind Riki.

Storm bench forward Tom Eisenhuth finished first for relative distance with an average of 110 metres-per-minute against the Sharks. He was on the park for 25 minutes.

Cleary (103 metres-per-minute) was the highest-ranking 80-minute player in this metric, climbing into the fifth spot.
