Round 13: Team of the Week - Jack makes a bird of it

The votes are in for the round 13 team of the week and the Storm and Eels have dominated while a rejuvenated Dragon has his moment in the sun.

There were only four matches on the schedule due to Wednesday's Ampol State of Origin series opener in Townsville and two of those were decided by big margins, with the Dragons and Eels in hot form.

Jack Bird's renaissance continued as the Red V ran nine tries past Brisbane and he was joined in the best 13 by teammate Matt Dufty, who scored two of those four-pointers and had a hand in five more.

Parramatta's rout of the Knights catapulted four of their stars into the team of the week and that number was matched by the Storm, who made it 10 wins on the trot when they downed the Gold Coast.
