Warriors halfback Chanel Harris-Tavita's season is likely over after a suspected pectoral tear while hooker Wayde Egan was taken to hospital with a nasty head cut.
The injuries made a tough Sunday afternoon even worse for the Warriors as the Storm flogged them 42-16 at Central Coast Stadium.
Egan had to be helped from the field by two trainers in the 74th minute with blood coming from his head after a collision.
"There's a real bad cut and he's not in a good way. He's not very stable and he has very blurred [vision]," coach Nathan Brown said post-match, indicating that Egan is set for a stint on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, the bad luck continues for Harris-Tavita, who missed seven weeks with a broken foot earlier in the season.

The 22-year-old playmaker produced a massive hit to stop Brandon Smith from scoring in the first half but then hurt himself.
"It's been an unhappy year for him from that [injury] point of view. That's disappointing," Brown said.
"It certainly didn't have a bearing on the result though."
Returning teen star Reece Walsh could come into the reckoning to fill a halves spot next round, while Brown said Sean O'Sullivan is another option.
If there was a positive to take from the match, Wests Tigers-bound winger Ken Maumalo was able to farewell Warriors fans with a hat-trick after receiving a late call-up to replace the injured Rocco Berry.
Maumalo is expected to officially become a Tiger in the coming days.

"Ken wasn't going to play today ... He held himself quite well and did a good job. He's a good fella, Ken," Brown said.
His departure will free up an outside back roster spot and the coach confirmed the Warriors have spoken about acquiring former Kiwis captain Dallin Watene-Zelezniak from the Bulldogs.
"What I can say is that once the thing unfolded with Ken, we certainly are putting our feelers out there looking," Brown said.
"We've got a fair list of backs that aren't playing at the moment - we get a few back [against Newcastle] next week, which is great - but we're looking at players and his name certainly was thrown up."
The Warriors took an early lead with a penalty goal and stayed in the contest until they conceded the opening try after 23 minutes.
"We just played no [attacking] footy. We just wanted to hit it up and hit it up and hit it up," Brown lamented.
"They ran us off our legs and then when the game was over in the second half we decided to play a little bit of footy and we looked a little bit better.
"I thought we took a bit of a step backwards today ... I was expecting a little better. They were far too good for us again."
