It's perhaps apt that Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has been forced to cool his jets for a week after the Warriors winger recorded the fastest speed of round 21.
Watene-Zelezniak, who is suspended for one match after being found guilty of grade-one contrary conduct at the judiciary on Tuesday night, was clocked at 36.3km/h against the Sharks last Saturday.
He outpaced the likes of Sea Eagles flyer Jason Saab (35.9km/h), Storm pair Reimis Smith (34.4km/h) and Josh Addo-Carr (34.3km/h) and Cronulla's Ronaldo Mulitalo (34.2km/h) to claim top honours.
And the Warriors headed another Telstra Tracker category with halfback Sean O'Sullivan covering the most distance of the round.
The playmaker racked up 9.38km, beating Cowboys No.7 Tom Dearden (9.279km) and hooker Reece Robson (9.139km).
Elsewhere, Jack Bird's first outing at fullback for the Dragons didn't go to script with a 20-12 loss to the Raiders, but the resilient star showed he could physically handle the rigorous running duties.
Bird produced more high-speed metres (more than 20km/h) than anyone else with 816 and has earned another crack in the No.1.
Knights centre Bradman Best (798hsm), Manly fullback Tom Trbojevic (971hsm) and winger Reuben Garrick (788hsm) ranked next.
Meanwhile, Storm prop Tepai Moeroa was clearly eager to get involved in his NRL return after a rugby sojourn, averaging 117.3 metres per minute in his 10 minutes against the Sea Eagles.
The ex-Eel led the way for relative distance with Sharks rookie Luke Metcalf (106.8m/m) also making the most of his three minutes.
