If you're happy with where you are placed in your tipping competition, this looks a good round to sit back and take the favourites.

According to the members of the NRL.com tipping panel, seven of the eight matches should go to script, with only the Wests Tigers-Cowboys fixture creating any real division.

But, if this is a week where you want to try and jump a place or two, teams such as the Eels, Sharks, Dragons and maybe even the Raiders are worth a look.

Yes, the Storm have won 17 in a row, but surely a loss before the finals is coming their way.

There is a new leader in the NRL.com competition. Fantasy NRL mystery man Lone Scout taking a one-point lead over NRL Teams host Niav Owens and NRL.com reporter Alicia Newton. The Scout got 7 of 8 last weekend.

Remember, it's not too late to sign up for NRL Tipping.

Anyone can start or join a "comp" to compete against family, friends and colleagues – all you need to get started is to sign up for a free NRL account.

If you need help on how each team is travelling, Jamie Soward's Power Rankings is the best place to go for an accurate gauge on who's travelling well and who's doing not so well.

The Telstra Premiership finals are a few weeks away! To celebrate, the NRLShop is offering up to 20% off across a wide range including selected training gear, Outerstuff and All Star ranges. Free shipping on all orders over $100.
