Head-to-head grand finals, quiet Cleary and magnificent Manly – there was plenty going on in round 24 of the NRL Fantasy season.

Winners

Manly as a team didn't produce the points bonanza most expected against the Bulldogs but it didn't stop Tom Trbojevic (97) and Daly Cherry-Evans (92) producing the first- and fourth-best scores of the round, respectively.

Turbo had a fairly quiet first half before exploding with a second-half hat-trick while DCE was busy throughout, with the pair proving easily the best two of the likely captaincy options.

Jordan Rapana (95) was huge for the Raiders with Hudson Young (75) also strong while Viliame Kikau (94) was easily Penrith's best with a try and 10 busts.

Mikaele Ravalawa (80), Cameron Munster (76) and Jamal Fogarty (75) scored well in their sides' respective losses while Mitch Pearce, Anthony Milford, Wayde Egan, Mark Nicholls (all 74), David Fifita (73), Brian To'o (71), Jayden Sullivan and Isaiah Papali'i (both 70) round out the 70-plus scorers.

Sam Verills (68) had his best score of the year, Latrell Mitchell (66) did well given he was lucky not to be sent off for the hit that will now rule him out for the year, Damien Cook (60) overcame a quad strain to notch a solid score and Kalyn Ponga (65) produced his best score since round nine.

Losers

It would have been a huge gamble for anyone who owned Nathan Cleary to captain someone else but no doubt some took the punt on Turbo this week and it would have paid off, with the Panthers halfback producing a season-low 57 that probably changed the complexion of some head-to-head finals.

James Tedesco (9) finished 99 points short of his previous round's score in a tough night against the Rabbitohs, Adam Reynolds (41) spent time off with a knee injury, Reece Walsh (23) also had a tough night against the Raiders.

Likewise Ryan Papenhuyzen (24) against the Eels in a game that also wasn't ideal for the scoring of Harry Grant (39) despite the hooker playing almost 80 minutes.

Tyrone Peachey (28), Luke Brooks (29), Josh Curran (32) and Bradman Best (14) were among the other Fantasy-relevant players that scored below par in round 24
