The Sydney Roosters have announced a change of venue for their round two clash with the Sea Eagles and the round 18 match against the Dragons.

The round 18 home game against the Dragons on Saturday July 16 was to have been played at the Sydney Cricket Ground but has been relocated to Central Coast Stadium due to venue availability.

Consequently, the Roosters’ round two home game against the Sea Eagles, which was originally scheduled to be played at Central Coast Stadium, will now be played at the SCG.

“Together with Venues NSW we have worked to deliver what we believe is the best possible outcome,” said Roosters CEO Joe Kelly.

The round two game on Friday March 18 will kick off at 8.05pm at the SCG, the sight of the 1972 grand final between the two great rivals.

In round 18 clash with the Dragons will kick off at 3pm at the Central Coast.
