Newcastle will be looking to spoil the Titans' finals party on Sunday when they travel to Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium for the final round of the NRL Telstra Women's Premiership.

The Knights remain winless in their maiden campaign and will be looking to finish on a good note against a Titans side who are coming off a breakthrough win over Brisbane.

Gold Coast have been inconsistent in the past four weeks and will need back up last week's efforts if they're to win and cement a spot in the top four.

It will be a Queensland homecoming for several of the Knights players including Romy Teitzel, Emma Manzelmann and Rangimarie Edwards-Bruce.

Team news

Titans: A huge blow for the side with star Evania Pelite ruled out after picking up an ankle injury in last week's win over the Broncos. Shaniah Power shifts to the centres after her stirring performance in the back row with Tiana Raftstrand-Smith moving one in on the edge. Grace Griffin returns at five-eighth with Cobie-Jane Morgan moving back to the interchange alongside April Ngatupuna. Georgia Hale will miss the match after taking the early guilty plea for a crusher tackle on Jada Ferguson last week. Hale will be available for the finals if the Titans progress to the semi-finals.

No changes to the 17 in Saturday's updated squad.

Knights: Jayme Fressard (concussion) and Tahlulah Tillett (ankle) were named on Tuesday but have now dropped out, along with Krystal Rota (family reasons).

Katie Green comes back onto the wing while Autumn-Rain Stephens-Daly moves back to five-eighth partnering Kirra Dibb in the halves and Emma Manzelmann comes into the side at hooker

Paige Parker, Chantelle Graham and Shannon Evans will make their debuts for the club while Georgia Page is back after missing the Dragons clash due to concussion.

Ngatokotoru Arakua was named in the original squad to return to after serving her one-match ban but she dropped out when the squad was reduced on Saturday.

Key match-up

Jasmine Peters v Bobbi Law: Teammates for the Indigenous All Stars clash in February, Peters will be looking to back up her starring effort against the Broncos last week when she marks opposite number Law. The Knights have looked dangerous at times shifting left but Law hasn't been able to benefit as yet.

Stat attack

Both sides have the poorest completion rates in the competition with the Titans (66%) not much better than Newcastle's 65%. Whoever holds onto the ball will give themselves the best opportunity of winning. The Titans remained poor in this area last start despite their impressive win over the Broncos.
