Brisbane flyer Selwyn Cobbo has lit up the Telstra Tracker data from the NRL's Magic Round weekend after starring in the Broncos' stunning 38-0 win over the Rabbitohs on Friday night.

A hat-trick hero on the night, Cobbo's dominance at Suncorp Stadium was reflected not only on the scoresheet but also in this week's data with the winger chalking up the fastest speed of any player across the Magic Round weekend.

Despite rainy conditions affecting many players, Cobbo still clocked an impressive 34.8 km/h top speed — narrowly edging out Manly speedster Tolutau Koula who recorded a top speed of 34.6 km/h in the same game.

Cobbo also finished top of the sprint distance charts, which measures the metres run by players at a speed greater than 25 kilometres per hour. The Broncos winger had 291 metres to his name, while Dragons fullback Tyrell Sloan had 277 metres.

All the action from a dramatic golden point period

With the "benefit" of an additional nine minutes courtesy of their Golden Point thriller, the Dragons and Titans both had several players stand out in Telstra Tracker data, with both fullbacks doing all they could to get their side over the line.

Returning from a two-week stint in reserve-grade, Gold Coast number one Jayden Campbell finished among the top ten players in sprint distance, top five players in total distance and top three players in maximum velocity while Sloan covered more than 10 kilometres of total distance — significantly more than any other player.

In fact, Sloan’s distance of 10,169 metres is the second highest distance covered by any player this year; the first being the 10,287 metres he recorded back in Round 2.

Darting Dearden finds Hiku who finishes the job

With the Titans and Dragons understandably dominating the total distance categories, Cowboys five-eighth Tom Dearden did remarkably well to still finish with the fourth most metres covered in his side's win over Wests Tigers while Parramatta forward Isaiah Papali'i surprisingly recorded the fourth highest speed of the weekend, clocking in at 33.3 km/h in his side's loss to the Roosters.
