The National Rugby League (NRL) were proud to celebrate its 2022 Indigenous Round, presented by DoorDash, with several unreal moments from the weekend’s games capping off a memorable week for rugby league fans.

From the Broncos’ thrilling comeback over the Titans to the Panthers flexing their Premiership muscle against the Cowboys, there was no shortage of highlights for fans right across the game throughout the NRL’s Indigenous Round weekend.

The on-field action across the weekend was also matched by the important work being done off it, with the NRL’s annual School 2 Work Youth Summit.

The summit, which forms part of the NRL’s School 2 Work program, supports young Indigenous Australians with work experience, mentoring and leadership opportunities to help them successfully complete school and transition into further study, training, or employment prospects.

Proud partners with the NRL, a generous $50,000 donation from DoorDash was given to the School2Work program — a fantastic contribution which will allow for greater opportunities and initiatives in the years to come.

Throughout the past week, participants in the program have taken part in workshops, on-the-job visits for construction and experienced pathways employment opportunities. The week culminated in a big screen cinema event where DoorDash delivered food, drinks, movie snacks and a private screening of Space Jam, before heading to BlueBet Stadium (home of the Dharug people) to witness an enthralling top-four clash between the Panthers and Cowboys.

The NRL would again like to thank DoorDash for their involvement in its annual Indigenous Round and for their ongoing support of the School2Work program.
