The Roosters' rollercoaster season continued in Canberra on Sunday as they fell to a fourth loss in their past seven games while the Storm put their feet up and enjoyed a bye.
Joey Manu was magnificent for the Roosters at fullback but the absence of James Tedesco, Daniel Tupou and Lindsay Collins in Origin camp certainly contributed to the six-point defeat GIO Stadium.
The Storm have their own Origin duo of Cameron Munster and Felise Kaufusi hoping to back up from Wednesday's showdown, with Xavier Coates ruled out after picking up an injury in Origin I.
In last year's two meetings the Storm racked up 66 points to the Roosters' four, winning 46-0 in Newcastle and 20-4 in Melbourne.

Team news
Roosters: James Tedesco didn't back up from Origin I last year but will play this time around in a boost for the Tricolours. Daniel Tupou and Lindsay Collins will also play after their Origin efforts on Wednesday night. The only late change to the side is the omission of Egan Butcher, whose place on the bench is taken by Daniel Suluka-Fifita.
Storm: Xavier Coates is out after suffering a syndesmosis injury in Wednesday night's State of Origin but Maroons team-mates Cameron Munster, Felise Kaufusi and Harry Grant will all play. Grant has been moved to the bench on game day with Brandon Smith to start. Nelson Asofa-Solomona also goes to the bench in his return from a knee injury, with Tui Kamikamica promoted to the starting side.
The backline reshuffle sees Marion Seve move to the wing in place of Coates, with Grant Anderson named to play centre. Alec MacDonald (illness) is also back.

Luke Keary v Jahrome Hughes: The Roosters No.7 took his try assist tally to 12 for the season when he went aerial for Joseph Suaalii to leap high and score in Canberra. The three-time premiership winner was a constant threat to the Raiders defence and his running game looks to be on song heading into the second half of the season. Hughes has seven try assists and four line break assists to his name from seven games this season and he has a big role to play if the Storm are to continue their recent dominance over the Roosters, especially if fellow playmaker Cameron Munster doesn't back up from Origin One.
