Bulldogs flyer Josh Addo-Carr has re-established himself as the fastest man in the game by recording the fastest speed by a player this year in his side's 36-26 win over the Titans.

Addo-Carr, who scored a hat trick and ran for over 300 metres in the win, recorded a maximum velocity of 38.7 kilometres per hour — easily the fastest speed of the round and the fastest speed recorded in the Telstra Tracker data this year.

With several runaway tries, the Bulldogs winger also easily topped the sprint distance category (which measures metres run at a speed greater than 25 kilometres per hour) with 350 metres in total for the match.

Roosters young gun Joseph Suaalii — who also came in third for high speed distance — finished second with 282 metres and Titans winger Jojo Fifita rounding out the top three with 259 metres, many of which came in his incredible attempt to stop Addo-Carr from scoring his second runaway try of the game.

Addo-Carr goes the hundred

Coming from the other side of the field, Fifita managed to make contact with Addo-Carr near the goal line but was unable to stop him scoring the try.

Despite that, Fifita still managed to record a high speed of 36.9 kilometres per hour — the second highest speed of the round behind Addo-Carr — with Manly speedster Jason Saab rounding out the top three with a maximum velocity of 34.1 km/h.

The best NRL plays from Round 19

Addo-Carr's efforts weren't the only numbers to stand out from the Bulldogs' victory, with stand-in fullback Declan Casey impressing at the back.

Casey covered 9577 metres in total across the 80 minutes, more than any other player in the round, with teammate Kyle Flanagan (who also topped the high speed distance data) coming in second with a total distance of 9479 metres.

After producing one of his finest games of the season, Wests Tigers fullback Daine Laurie came in third with 9427 metres in his side's close defeat to the Cowboys.
